About

Sarah Charlton Frank’s love for textile design began at the age of eight when her mother took her to see kimonos at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She later pursued a degree in textiles at Moore College of Art and has been designing ever since. Sarah’s specialty is in scarf design with an emphasis on museum work which combines her love of fine art and textiles.

She worked at the Echo Design Group as a senior art manager for twenty-one years before launching her own company Charlton Designs NYC in 2017.

After more than a decade of classes at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden & as a member of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society, Sarah has developed a signature style that has become the platform for her nature inspired line of scarves and home products. Her subjects consist of flowers, fruits, & vegetables.

All products are digitally printed from original watercolors on fine fabrics.
